What happens with your data on this site.

Short version: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, which form you used and when, and use it for one thing: your invite.

Hosting and delivery

This site runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data such as the page requested, the time and your browser type. This is necessary to show you the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

No cookies, no tracking

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts, logos and scripts are served from this domain; your browser does not contact third-party services while you read it.

Waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we store your email address, which of the two forms you used and the time of signup. The data is kept in a Cloudflare D1 database in the EU. We use it only to send you one email when your invite is ready: no newsletter, no sharing, no selling. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to info@christianschmitt.dev.

To stop abuse, the signup counts requests per IP address for one minute. The IP address is not stored with your signup. We delete your address once your invite has been sent, or earlier if you ask us to.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to info@christianschmitt.dev. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Bremen.
